This is where I used to get the majority of my groceries. Prior to opening this store, they had a nearby wholesale shop. I believe they still do, but I’m not sure. This supermarket carries the majority of common household items. Vegetables were also sold in this supermarket when it first opened, but they are no longer available at all. Additionally, it appears that they are unwilling to sell eggs. Customers are disappointed because sometimes they are available and sometimes they are not.
We have to go to other stores for vegetables and eggs, which is a disadvantage of this store. Furthermore, the milk storage is limited; if you visit later in the evening, you will be unable to obtain it.
Apart from those drawbacks, this is the only grocery store that offers everything. Almost all items are available. Another advantage is that they have branded grocery items. Most supermarkets have their own brands for lentils, which forces us to buy them without any other option, but Tharani Super Market does not do that; they offer a variety of popular brands such as Udhyam, Naga, Ashirwaad, Sakthi, Aachi, and more.
This store also has a kids’ section, and the toys are significantly less expensive than at other supermarkets. My request to the store owner is to keep a notebook where regular customers can add their wishlists. For example, I keep checking for Fanta cans, Amul lassi, and eggs, but they are not always available. It would be fantastic if they took customer feedback into account.
