What problem are we resolving with this marketplace?
While there are numerous online price comparison sites and stores, they merely compare prices from other online stores, which is readily available on Google. However, when you urgently need a product or service, even if it’s available at a nearby store with affordable prices, locating it becomes challenging as there’s no dedicated website or marketplace to search for products or services in your locality. While there are directory sites listing store addresses, they lack information about available products and services.
To overcome this issue, we introduce a hyperlocal price comparison marketplace that lists prices from businesses in your neighborhood. PriceFinder.in is not limited to a specific product or service category, making it a one-stop solution for all your requirements.
Though there are countless features to be added to the website, today marks the beginning of our journey. We firmly believe that every successful journey starts with the first step, and we take immense pride in this initial stride. We invite cooperation from local businesses and service providers to pave the way for a successful implementation.
Currently, we have added around 1000+ products, which our team members added to facilitate the vendor onboarding process. The prices of these products were obtained from various sources, and we plan to introduce features like verified vendors and prices when listing products. The verified symbol will indicate that a product is available to book.
Furthermore, it’s worth mentioning that the first input box for product search falls under our own vendor, ‘PriceFinder.’ We created this vendor and mapped all our master products under it. The reason behind this is to empower our customers with informed decision-making by displaying product prices first. Once they select a specific city or locality, they can see the number of product vendors and service providers available.
At the launch date, 21-Jul-2023, we won’t have any vendors yet, as we believe in establishing a proper system before approaching vendors. Now, we feel confident enough to approach vendors, so you can expect to find more products and services available in your neighborhood soon.
