It has been a long time since we last posted updates for our PriceFinder.in website. The good news is that we have added more features to our live site. Please visit the site to see the changes.
What’s new in this version of PriceFinder.in:
- We have moved to a new server to speed up loading times.
- We have improved search speed on the home page, both for auto-suggestions and product listings.
- We’ve implemented drill-down search functionality, which means that when you search for a product or service, the location input will automatically populate with related locations. No more empty result pages, no more disappointment.
- We’ve added a ‘last updated’ column in search results, so customers can know when the product details were last updated.
- We’ve introduced a vendor’s shop listing page. On this page, you’ll find two search inputs: one for category search and another for location. Based on your search, shops will be listed on the page.
- We’ve added a shop detail page, which means that customers can now browse their favorite nearby store’s products on a dedicated page with categories.
Upcoming features: In an upcoming major update, we will introduce website integration. This means that we will create websites for vendors with their products synced on both our website and PriceFinder. This provides seamless integration, eliminating the need to update product or service prices in two places. Simply update the price in the vendor dashboard, and it will automatically sync in both PriceFinder and the vendor’s website.
We will also add a fulfillment symbol next to the product title on the search result page, indicating that the product price has been verified by PriceFinder. As you know, the initial search result is generated by us. We frequently update our master product database with prices and information. If a vendor is ready to join us to sell their product or service, we will add a verified icon, signifying that it’s fulfilled by PriceFinder through a third-party vendor.
Lastly, we will continue to improve the seamless cart integration to make it easier for customers to complete their purchases and send their selected product lists to the merchant
